Dr. Anne Holbrook has submitted a research proposal to Canadian Institutes for Health Research
[www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca] for a non-randomized pilot study designed to provide the learnings required
for successful future implementation of e-prescribing and for a practical randomized trial of the impact
of e-prescribing in Canada. Notification of successful funding applications is scheduled for late March 2008.
